How to Cold Boot a Intermec CN3

CN3 - Secondary Reset (Cold Boot) If the preferred reset method does not restore the CN3, you must remove the battery - there is a small round button on the right hand side of the unit, in the battery compartment. Press and hold that button for about 3 seconds and then re-insert the battery. The unit will turn itself on, and will reset. RAM is clear, no settings or applications are lost.

How to Clean Boot a Intermec CN3

CN3 - Clean Boot To clean boot the CN3, you must remove the battery - there is a small round button on the right hand side of the unit, in the battery compartment. Press and hold that button for about 3 seconds and then re-insert the battery. As soon as you insert the battery, press and hold the I/O button until the screen asks you if you want to clean boot - press the button indicated on screen to clean boot. RAM is clear, all settings are removed, all applications are removed if not part of the SSPB folder.
